Watched Peach Girl, episodes 1-23. The drawing style def. took a long time to get used it. I prefer the manga much better. The anime followed the manga storyline close enough, until episode 20, where things went into a 180 direction. I always liked the "Change of Heart" manga better, because I like Kairi as it is. But this... this anime is playing up Touji's side waaaaaaaaay more than it should. He's never been the "good guy" to me.

To make matter's worse, since it's been twelve years since I've touched this series, I have a different perspective on it now. I can actually say, unfortunately, that I know people who've had the same exact relationship that Momo does and they were once my close friends. It's ironic to think things turned out that way for them in the end as well.

For me... the person that was like Kairi was my best friend after college and now, we never talk. The person that was like Touji I've known since high school... and we're still good friends, after all this time. The girl that was like Momo... blew me off for immature reasons. The girl like Sae... was my best friend in high school and I had to detact myself and move away because her poision was too strong for me to handle.

With how screwed up the plot has become, I have no idea WHAT the outcome of the series will be. By now, in the manga, Kairi and Momo were already back together...
